The bot @CasusLegalBot accepts questions phrased in plain language and sends an overview of relevant case law: the decision details, the substance of the court’s legal position and a verbatim quotation for each point.
Search is based on the meaning of the question, not matching words: you can phrase it the way you are used to phrasing questions at work. The bot searches only a structured corpus of case law, so the answer contains no fabricated cases: every decision it cites actually exists and can be opened.
The bot prepares an overview of relevant case law: the decision details, the substance of the court’s legal position and a verbatim quotation for each point. It does not provide legal assessments, strategies or outcome predictions; it simply lays out the case law point by point.
Each decision in the answer includes a link to the full text. The overview itself can be read on a separate page or downloaded in Word (DOCX) or Markdown: the buttons below the answer take you directly there.
The bot searches at once across the case law of the highest courts (Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, Supreme Commercial Court), the Intellectual Property Court, and the Supreme Court’s administrative and criminal cases. It selects the appropriate database by default; you can switch manually with the /corpus command.
Each bot response uses one query from the package, and a follow-up question on the same topic does too: the dialogue context continues to accumulate, and the next response is generated with it in mind. It is therefore more economical to formulate the question specifically at the outset rather than split it into follow-up questions.

All commands are available through the “Menu” button to the left of the input field in Telegram.
| Command | What it does and when it is useful |
|---|---|
| /start | Starts the bot and signs you in. It immediately gives a new user 3 free queries and shows the status for an authorized user. Tap it when opening the bot for the first time or when it has stopped responding in an old chat. |
| /status | Shows the remaining queries in the package and the code used to sign in. Check it before asking a series of questions on one topic: this shows the available balance for the entire topic at once. |
| /buy | Opens the query-package catalogue; payment is by card, without a subscription or automatic charges. Use it when the free limit or a previously purchased package has run out. |
| /corpus | Switches the search database: auto (the model determines it from the topic), highest courts only, IP Court only, administrative cases only, or criminal cases only. Useful when the topic is borderline (for example, an administrative case with a criminal element) and auto mode selects the wrong database. |
| /reset | Clears the dialogue context; the same can be done with the “🆕 New chat” button below the input field. Tap it before starting a new topic: without a reset, the bot retains the entire previous conversation, making the response less precise. |
| /voice | Turns the voice summary on or off; it arrives after the text overview. Turn it off if you are listening to the chat in a crowded place or do not need the voice version. |
| /guide | Sends guidance on how to formulate questions; this saves queries and improves the accuracy of the answer. |
| /feedback | Opens the feedback form: feedback, a suggestion, a complaint or a subscription request. The administrator’s reply arrives in the same chat. |
| /code | Activates an access code using an explicit command in the format /code XXXX-XXXX. Useful if the bot did not recognize a code sent as ordinary text: normally, it is sufficient to send the code in a single message without a command. |
| /logout | Unlinks the code from the current chat. Use it to sign in with another code or transfer the chat to another person. |
| /help | Displays the list of commands and a brief description of the bot’s capabilities directly in the chat. |
Command /cancel is separate: it works only within the feedback dialogue, after selecting the type of request in /feedback, and cancels text entry. Outside that dialogue, it does nothing.
After the text overview, the bot sends a voice message: an approximately one-minute spoken summary of the main points, without case numbers or decision details (they are difficult to understand by ear).
It is read by Roman Sergeyevich Bevzenko, with his consent: the voice was synthesized by a model trained on a recording of his lecture. Below are two examples of how it sounds.
The audio retells the case law found and does not replace legal advice.
You can send the bot more than just a text question: a document (PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown), photo, voice message or audio message. The bot will recognize the content and take it into account in its answer.
Per submission: one document or up to three photos; the file size must not exceed 20 MB.
